3 golfers with major Colorado ties still have shots at qualifying for PGA Championship

Three players with strong Colorado connections made the 54-hole cut on Tuesday at the national PGA Professional Championship in Austin, Texas.
With the top 70 golfers and ties — out of 312 — advancing to the final round, those competing on Wednesday will include Ben Lanting of Bear Creek Golf Club, Geoff Keffer of Lakewood Country Club and former Coloradan Brandon Bingaman. Lanting shares 53rd place at 3-over-par 215, while Keffer and Bingaman are tied for 61st at 216.
The top 20 finishers on Wednesday will earn spots in the 2022 PGA Championship, set for May 16-22 in Tulsa. After 54 holes, the players at 2 under and better are in the top 20.
